Pete’s wedding

Last Sunday was our Peter Knights's big day, it was a lovely day started by the ceremony at the Melbourne Town Hall, then followed by the reception at Leonda in Hawthorn.

We are so happy for him and Tiffany, Congratulations! and may the years ahead be filled with lasting joy.

Two talks by EAT

Albert has been busy this week giving lectures at Camberwell High School's career talk, and Swinburn University Faculty of Design's interior design talk night. The turnout to both talks were overwhelming, and Albert has met a lot of young enthusiastic designers!

Anyway the talk program at Swinburn looks quite amazing, 2 upcoming talks that look particularly promising are Emilio Fuscaldo of Nest Architects on 26 April and Simon Lloyd of Studio Mumbai Architects (India) on 03 May. For the full program, check it out here.

Linear House on Stephen Crafti Architecture Tour

In a balmy Sunday, the renowed architectural writer Stephen Crafti has conducted an architecture tour of 5 private houses in the Mornington Peninsular, and one of the 5 is our Linear House. Over 60 people has joined the tour of the house, and enjoyed a light lunch at the roof deck yesterday. If you would like to be notified about the next tour, please contact Stephen Crafit here.

Australia Day celebration at the Government House

We were invited to the Government House to celebrate the Australia Day last evening, together with the 'bright young things' of Victoria. It was good to see a few familiar architect faces among the crowd - Jon Clements, Matt Gibson, Andrew Simpson, Emilio Fuscaldo & Imogen Pullar, David & Jacqueline Wagner, James Staughton, Stuart Harrison & Marcus White, as well as Rowen Opat.
