E589 has started

The site of our E589 project has been flattened, and work is finally underway of this exciting building. The builder of the project is Maxstra, and we just simply can't wait until seeing some structure coming out of the ground smile

Courtyard House is underway

Demolition is now underway for our Courtyard House project, and again this project is under the expert hands of one of our trusted builders Sargant Construction.

It is always a delight to find little bits and pieces of history during the demo process: During our site visit yesterday, we found the existing bricks were made locally with a "AUBURN" stamp on them, and we are so glad that they will be recycled in the new building.

Update: The client has also informed us that there are some bricks marked "FRITSCHOLZER", apparently the name comes from Augustus Fritsch and the Holzer brothers who formed the Upper Hawthorn Brick Company in 1883. The factory employed around 50 people and produced 250,000 bricks per week for use throughout Victoria. Now in its place is the "Fritsch Holzer Park" in Hawthorn East and there is some further info on Council's website here.

Pulse has reached practical completion

We are nearly there! Pulse has finally reached practical completion last Friday, and the job is now looking good! The builder, Merkon, is now attending to a few minor omissions and general defects, and we will be expecting the first residence to move in at the end of the month. We just can't believe after 5 years on the job, the buildings are finally completed!

Over the next few months, we will be commisioning the photography, so that we can have something sexy on our website, stay tune smile

We have been busy!

It's already mid August 2012! Since we launched our new website and identity late last year, our office has been very busy with all of our projects, and today we have uploaded quite a number of new projects on our site - Kazoo, Elk House and Duck Farm House.

We are happy to report that Courtyard House and E589 Apartments has finally begun construction, both are expected to be completed in 2014. Pulse Apartments in St. Kilda is near its completion, with purchaser starting to move in in late August. We have also commissioned Greg Elms for the photography of our newly completed grill & sake bar Pabu in Fitzroy, which will be on website as soon as we have recevied them from Greg.

So please check back for the progress of all these exciting projects! Cheers.

Pulsing along
