This project involves the refurbishment of public spaces within the original ‘Pearl Bourke’ office building in Melbourne CBD. The simple expression of repetitive columns of granite imported from Brazil sets a clean and distilled look, in contrast with the chaos of traffic and noise outside of the building. The intent is to provide a calm transitional space leading up to the office suites. Environmental signage by Hofstede Design.
