Drummond Apartments

A 32-level 25,000m² high density residential tower in downtown Melbourne, the planning strategy and the resultant façade to this 165 units building with 2 levels of retail on street level and 2 underground levels of car parking is inspired by Le Corbusier’s Unité d'Habitation in Marseille, where each unit interlocks to the adjacent over 2 levels, and the Le Ventre de l'Architecte ("The Architect's Belly") on level 20 which incorporates the common area with a swimming pool, a gym and a running track.
