WIPStone throw away from the Caulfield's hallowed turf, Kazoo (house) is named after the racehorse whose winnings helped fund its original construction. The existing Federation house was the stable for Kazoo, and this project is an 250m2 alteration and addition to accomodate a new family of four. The steel skin of the addition which can be seen from the street, references the materials of the nearby watchtowers of the racecourse, while juxtaposing agaist the rich eixsting brickworks. Two courtayrds have been created to allow various outdoor activities to be enjoyed, and a viewing platform to the racecourse has also been subtly incorporated.
