Pelham Apartments

A 12-level 10,000m² high rise apartment building in the City of Melbourne, comprising of 117 apartments with 2 levels of underground car parking spaces. The site is adjacent to the University of Melbourne and the gateway to Melbourne CBD. The existing building named as “Till’s Building” is currently a showroom for Peugeot and it has a history associated with automobiles. Hence, we employed the technique of stacking car tyres to create the form of the main facade.
