Lodged! A new winery precinct for Yarra Valley - this family owned and operated winery holds the local community and sustainable land management in its heart.

The collaborative brief development ironed out the operational needs for the working winery and cidery, balanced with the new requirements for the development. The result is a series of timber pavilions perched atop a hill, with views out over the rolling vineyards. Surrounded by native gardens, and productive vineyards - the new cellar door, cidery and restaurant are linked through covered walkways. The human scale and soul of the original Punt Road Cellar door was a core driver for the spatial arrangement and masterplanning.

Heavy 🤝Light​​​​​​​​​#EATMovinghouse was completed back in 2016. It explored the relationship between heavy and light, counterintuitively using battened aluminium screens to create mass, while concrete vaults captured the sun.

#EATYugen has 4 distinct zones, each with their own ambience - the cocktail bar, restaurant, omakase bar and the golden orb. Creating a coherent restaurant while balancing the experiential differences was part of the design challenge for this 700m2 subterranean restaurant. ​​​​​​​​​.
